At the meeting of Central Asian leaders in Astana, which was also attended by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Tokayev called for strengthening defense cooperation. Aliyev highlighted the significance of the recent international exercises “Birlestik-2024” in Kazakhstan and emphasized the importance of training Central Asian cadets in Azerbaijani military institutions.
