“Today, the consensus is absolutely that we can destroy everything Russian, for example, in Crimea. Let me remind you, that a year ago, even when some strikes were on Crimea, everyone said: no, no, let’s just not do that. Today, the absolute consensus is equal in the countries that support us”, said the adviser to the head of the Ukrainian state.
Such a loud statement. I am citing it for a reason. Azerbaijan is not bombing anything in Khankandi, where several tens of thousands of Armenians are living illegally. So then how dare anyone in the West dare to say anything to our country, which is entitled to act on its territory in full accordance with its own laws and its own national interests?
I would like to see how that same President of France, Macron, murmurs something regarding the wrong activities of Ukraine in occupied Crimea, where, and this I want to highlight, there reside quite a few ethnic Ukrainians that have received Russian passports. There are no Azerbaijanis in Khankandi. Not at all. the same President of France Macron something cries about the impropriety of Ukraine’s actions in occupied Crimea, where, I would like to note, there are many ethnic Ukrainians who have received Russian passports. There are no Azerbaijanis in Khankendi. In general. So the shrieks of Armenia’s patrons are, to put it mildly, inappropriate here. After all, our country has provided and is still providing Garabagh Armenians with an alternative: to accept Azerbaijani citizenship and live where they are living now, or to leave the Garabagh Economic Region of our country through the “Lachin” border checkpoint and settle in Armenia or any other country. Logical? Yes. Humane? More than! Do the “advocates” of Armenia and Garabagh separatism look foolish in this regard? To be honest, it’s ridiculous.
And now they have to make up all sorts of primitive excuses. After all, Azerbaijan’s Red Crescent Society (IFRC) provides humanitarian assistance to Armenians living in Garabagh. Two trucks with humanitarian cargo for Khankandi residents have already left Baku. Initially, 40 tons of flour products will be delivered. If necessary, more IFRC convoys will be sent. Although hardly anyone doubts that there was and is no “hunger” in Khankandi, there is only the inflation of an imaginary problem…
It should be emphasized that the action is carried out by the forces of the Azerbaijani Red Crescent. In other words, the speculations and provocations of the Red Crosses Armenian branch, which openly protected the Garabagh separatists, participated in the dissemination of lies about a “humanitarian catastrophe” and tried to monopolize and politicize the process of communication between Baku and Garabagh Armenians, will be stopped.
It is important to note, that the humanitarian convoy from Baku is to follow the Aghdam-Khankandi route. The one that Azerbaijan has repeatedly proposed to the Armenian side. Thus one of the main troubadours of Karabakh separatism – David Babayan – is in a dumb situation. After all, he assured everyone that the way from Aghdam to Khankandi is “only a logistical road, and we do not know whether it will be launched and when”.
This means Babayan was blatantly lying, hoping that nobody would examine it too closely. Meanwhile, the Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan, Head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Presidential Administration Hikmet Hajiyev has announced in mid-August that this route has been completed. “The Aghdam-Askeran-Khankandi road is ready, functional and open for the delivery of all necessary goods”, he wrote on his official X (former Twitter) page, noting that Aghdam lies at a distance of 23 km from Khankandi.
It is now precisely through this road that Khankandi is being delivered with humanitarian supplies from the Azerbaijani society of the IFRC. I would very much like to see how the remnants of the Garabagh separatists will try to prevent its passage and delivery. You are going on about a “humanitarian crisis”? Here you have humanitarian aid. You don’t want it, you only want Armenian products? Well, go to Armenia to get them. Khankandi is Azerbaijan, and the products here will be Azerbaijani. The laws, of course, too.
It is perhaps amusing to see how this move is condemned by politicians and public figures recruited by the world’s Armenians, including a former Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC), Ocampo. However, they are so badly worn out by the lies that no one is interested in their opinions, and not only in Baku. The whole world already knows what an Armenian dead-end looks like.
In fact, everything is very simple: having initially refused humanitarian aid through Aghdam, the Armenians of Garabagh have clearly demonstrated how implausible the narrative about the blockade is. And this was before the humanitarian aid from the IFRC. Now, their stories about “starvation on the verge of death” will be presented in all its glory. Well, the “blockade” will turn into an ordinary “hunger strike in protest”, and all dissenting, as the great Maya Plisetskaya said, “to sit without eating”, can leave quietly through the “Lachin” border checkpoint.
