The Ministry of Defense of Armenia has initiated an investigation into today’s reported ceasefire violation by the Armenian Armed Forces on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, as reported by the military police of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia. “If this fact is confirmed, those responsible for violating the order will be held accountable,” the department’s statement noted.
Earlier today, the Armenian Armed Forces shelled positions of the border troops in the Zangilan district of Azerbaijan. As a result, one Azerbaijani border service soldier was wounded. A criminal case has been initiated, and an investigation is underway.
