President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev approved the law “On the State Budget for 2024”, and the document is published on the website of the head of state.
The share of defense and national security expenses in the state budget for 2024 is 17.4%.
Expenditures for the armed forces in the state budget for 2024 are provided at the level of 2 billion 465.55 million manats, for national security – 413.4 million manats, and for the border service – 487.7 million manats.
In addition, expenditures for special defense projects and activities for 2024 are provided in the amount of 3 billion manats.
