The Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Switzerland and Liechtenstein, Fuad Iskenderov, visited Zurich.
During his visit to the headquarters of the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA), he met with the organization’s Secretary-General, Matthias Grafström, according to Azertag.
Ambassador F. Iskenderov delivered an invitation from the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, addressed to Gianni Infantino, the President of the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA), to participate in the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP29) to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change. The invitation letter was received with satisfaction.
The meeting also included FIFA’s Regional Director for Europe, Elhan Mammadov, and the Public Relations Manager, Annalisa Tsakona.
