“The Azerbaijan-Israeli intergovernmental joint commission, which I co-chair, is a crucial platform for the development of our relations that contributes to the expansion of our cooperation, along with other things. The Embassy of Israel has been operating in our country for 29 years and plays an important role in diversifying and deepening our bilateral relations. In 2021, tourism and trade missions of Azerbaijan were opened in Israel. Azerbaijan is also regularly visited by representatives of Israeli official and business circles, and productive discussions are held. This year a roundtable and an Azerbaijan-Israeli business forum were held with participation of members of the Azerbaijan-Israel Chamber of Commerce. Azerbaijan’s liberation of its lands in the 44-day Patriotic War created new realities, new opportunities for regional and international cooperation. We invite Israeli companies to take advantage of these opportunities. We believe that the friendship and cooperation between Azerbaijan and Israel will continue to develop dynamically and deepen,” the minister said.
