Azerbaijan shipped 4.901 bcm to Italy in H1, a 2.4% decrease YoY, the Italian Environment and Energy Security Ministry said.
The TAP pipeline transports gas to Europe from the Shah Deniz field in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea as part of Stage-2 of its development.
In 2022, gas shipments to Italy via TAP totaled 10.325 bcm, a 43.1% increase over 2021, the ministry said.
