According to the Ministry of Energy of Uzbekistan, they held talks with representatives of SOCAR on July 5, and discussed mutually beneficial cooperation.
The parties actively cooperate in the field of experience exchange and personnel training.
Thus, specialists from Uzbekneftegaz JSC studied the resource management system with the phased introduction of software modules, a dispatch control system, solutions in the field of work automation, monitoring and control of production processes in SOCAR during a working trip to Azerbaijan in September 2021.
SOCAR specialists are planning to visit the gas chemical complexes of Uzbekneftegaz to organize training in advanced processing of hydrocarbons.
During the meeting, SOCAR representatives announced their readiness to accept 10 specialists of Uzbekneftegaz JSC for advanced training at their facilities and provide scholarships for 2 employees to pursue master’s degree program at the SOCAR Higher School.
Sides also agreed to accelerate opening a trade house in Dubai, which will allow both parties to more actively enter new markets.
Uzbekneftegaz decided to exhange experience with SOCAR in large projects for the renewable energy on the basis of public-private partnerships and tenders.
