This was stated by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Igor Klimenko, during a meeting with the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to this country, Seymur Mardaliyev.
During the meeting, the exchange of experience between Azerbaijan and Ukraine in humanitarian demining was discussed.
“Azerbaijan knows from its own experience what a mine threat is. Therefore, the skills of your specialists will be useful to Ukraine. I thank Azerbaijan for the gifted mechanized demining vehicle. It will be used in demining agricultural lands,” said Igor Klimenko.
The meeting also discussed issues related to combating the illegal trafficking of weapons and crime. “I hope our countries will continue cooperation and strengthen interaction on security issues,” the minister concluded.”
