Karabakh University receives 17m manats from state budget

Karabakh University received 17 million manats, or around $10 million, from Azerbaijan’s state budget in 2025.

The figure is reflected in the draft law on the execution of the 2025 state budget, which is being reviewed by the Parliamentary Committee on Economic Policy, Industry and Entrepreneurship.

The document also notes that 3.7 million manats were allocated to support the activities of Azerbaijan-Türkiye University.

The exchange rate is $1 to 1.7 manats.
