Ukrainian schoolchildren from Irpin visit Azerbaijan

A group of students and teachers from the Zarifa Aliyeva Lingvist Humanitarian Lyceum in Irpin, Ukraine, has arrived in Azerbaijan.

Ukrainian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Yuriy Husyev said the visit was organized at the invitation of SOCAR.

As part of the trip, the Ukrainian schoolchildren will visit Baku, Gabala, Shaki and Zagatala. They will learn about Azerbaijan’s cultural heritage, traditions and modern development.

The ambassador said such initiatives help strengthen friendship between Ukraine and Azerbaijan, while creating new opportunities for Ukrainian children for recreation, development and intercultural dialogue.

He also expressed gratitude to SOCAR and Azerbaijani partners for their support for Ukraine and care for Ukrainian children.
