According to the Kremlin’s press service, the Azerbaijani leader will be on a working visit to Russia.
“The talks are planned to address key issues regarding the further development of Russian-Azerbaijani relations of strategic partnership and alliance, as well as to conduct a thorough exchange of views on current regional issues,” reports the press service of the Russian president.
The leaders of the two countries will also meet with veterans of the construction of the Baikal-Amur Mainline, which was supervised by Ilham Aliyev’s father, future Azerbaijani President Heydar Aliyev, during his years working in the Council of Ministers of the USSR, the Kremlin’s message noted.
