Amos Hochstein conveyed congratulations on the upcoming COP29 event in Azerbaijan.
The Head of State thanked him for the congratulations.
The US President’s Special Coordinator for Global Infrastructure and Energy Security fondly recalled the cooperation between Azerbaijan and the US since the 1990s and the partnership with President Ilham Aliyev in projects related to the supply of Caspian Sea hydrocarbon resources to the global market, highlighting Azerbaijan’s strategic significance in the region.
The meeting discussed the development of the Middle Corridor and Azerbaijan’s role in this process, as well as issues of cooperation within the framework of COP29.
During the conversation, opinions on Azerbaijani-American bilateral relations were exchanged.
