Armenia is experiencing difficulties with both the export and import of goods due to the escalation between Iran and Israel, Armenian Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan said.
“We are facing challenges with both imports and exports, including trade with Iran and transit through its territory. These are factors that are largely beyond our control, but we hope the conflict will be resolved so that we can once again transport goods through Iran as before,” the minister stated.
According to him, due to the intensified conflict between Israel and Iran, some Armenian cargo has been stranded at the port of Bandar Abbas and on roads within Iran.
