A junior sergeant of the Border Service, Ramin Manafov, was wounded as a result of the provocation.
The serviceman was evacuated to a specialized medical facility and underwent surgery, his life is not in danger.
Currently, the operational conditions are stable and under the full control of Azerbaijani units.
“The State Border Service assesses this incident as another provocation by the Armenian side, and the responsibility for this lies entirely with the Armenian side,” the SBS said.
