As a result, two employees of the agency lost their lives – Samir Sabirovich Sadykhov, born on November 21, 1970, and Farhad Guseynaga Guliyev, born on May 2, 1965.
Meanwhile, the Main Investigation Department of the State Security Service of Azerbaijan initiated a criminal case under Articles 214.2.1, 214.2.2, 214.2.3 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan (terrorism committed by a group of individuals with the use of firearms by prior conspiracy), 120.2.1, 120.2.4, 120.2.7, 120.2.10, 120.2.11, 120.2.12 (murder of two or more persons in a generally dangerous way by an organized group associated with terrorism, with the intention of inciting national enmity and hatred), and 228.3 (illegal possession of firearms, its components, acquisition, storage, transportation, and carrying of ammunition, explosive substances, and devices by an organized group).
