“Azerbaijan does not need any assistance. Neither the state nor its citizens will accept such help. We are providing and will continue to provide necessary assistance to our citizens. Azerbaijan demands the recognition of the facts, an apology, and appropriate compensation,” a source in the Administration of the President of Azerbaijan told the Azerbaijani website Day.az.
On December 26, Deputy Chairman of the Chechen Government Hakimov stated that, on the instructions of the head of the republic, Kadyrov, “all families of the victims and those affected by this plane crash will be provided with financial assistance and all other necessary support.”
