In February 2025, Azerbaijan’s daily oil production amounted to 476,000 barrels, according to a report by the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC).
It is noted that in December of the previous year, this figure stood at 486,000 barrels, while in January 2025, it was 467,000 barrels.
Last year, Azerbaijan’s average daily oil production was 482,000 barrels, which is 22,000 barrels less than the 2023 level of 504,000 barrels.
According to the agreement reached at the 38th OPEC+ ministerial meeting—an initiative aimed at reducing oil production involving both OPEC members and non-member countries—Azerbaijan’s daily production quota is set at 551,000 barrels until the end of 2026.
Thus, in February, Azerbaijan fell short of its OPEC+ quota by 75,000 barrels per day.
