Azerbaijan is placed in the last position, 89th place, on the list of countries with zero impact from terrorism in the “Global Terrorism Index 2024.”
Armenia is in the 76th place, with a low level.
The list of countries with the highest terrorist threat is topped by Burkina Faso (8.571), followed by Israel (8.143), and Mali (7.998).
The top five countries are rounded out by Pakistan (7.916), Syria (7.89), and Afghanistan (7.825).
The GTI is prepared by the Institute for Economics & Peace (IEP) using data from the Terrorism Tracker and other sources. The index assesses each country on a scale from 0 to 10; where 0 indicates no impact from terrorism, and 10 indicates the highest measurable impact of terrorism.
