Azerbaijan Railways CJSC, operating under the Azerbaijan Transport and Communication Holding (AZCON Holding), has announced the introduction of a new feature as part of its ongoing digital transformation strategy.
The company’s e-services portal has now been successfully integrated with the national unified digital identification system – digital.login. This integration enables users to access the portal more quickly, securely, and conveniently using existing identification tools, including SİMA İmza, Asan İmza, SİMA Token (electronic signature), personal identification number, and the BSXM electronic signature.
Key advantages of the new system include:
-
Simplified and faster login without the need for re-registration
-
Enhanced security via state-verified digital ID tools
-
Time savings through more efficient processing of applications and requests
-
Compatibility with government platforms such as MyGov
The project was implemented in collaboration with the Innovation and Digital Development Agency and represents a significant step toward advancing Azerbaijan’s digital governance framework. It also expands the range of online services available under the single-window principle.
The newly launched e-services portal (https://portal.ady.az/) aims to improve operational efficiency, raise the quality of services for citizens and businesses, and offer a more modern, transparent, and user-friendly experience for accessing railway services. The platform is expected to continue evolving as the central hub for digital applications and services.
As part of its digitalization roadmap, Azerbaijan Railways CJSC plans to implement further initiatives aimed at reducing paper-based processes and minimizing environmental impact. These include improvements in ticketing, cargo tracking, safety systems, and real-time data exchange.
More broadly, this digital shift contributes to the technological renewal of Azerbaijan Railways, fosters a customer-centric business model, and accelerates integration with global railway networks. It strengthens both the company’s competitiveness and the overall transport and logistics potential of the country.
