On May 24, Elnur Allahverdiyev, head of the Milli Majlis working group on inter-parliamentary relations with the Czech Republic, sent a protest letter on behalf of the group members to the friendship group of the Czech Parliament’s Chamber of Deputies.
The letter expressed deep regret over the comments made by Jan Bartošek, Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Parliament, during his meeting with Armenian Ambassador Ashot Hovakimyan.
Jan Bartošek had posted on social media, alleging that Azerbaijan “occupied” Karabakh.
