Professor Adil Bagirov, who lives in the city of Ballarat, Australia, has been with the Australian Federal University (formerly Ballarat University) since 1999. He conducts research in optimization, non-smooth analysis, and other related fields. He has authored a vast number of research papers and articles and is a member of editorial boards of 7 international journals.
Our compatriot, born in Bilasuvar District on January 7, 1960, has a Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics from the Azerbaijan State University (now Baku State University). Before coming to live in Australia, he worked at the Institute of Space Research of Natural Resources of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, at Baku State University, and at the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research in Moscow, Russia.
