Azerbaijan and Armenia have held another working-level meeting as part of efforts to move the peace process forward.
On June 14, Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan, met in Dilijan with Armen Grigoryan, Secretary of Armenia’s Security Council.
The discussions focused on issues related to the peace agenda between the two countries, including the importance of maintaining direct bilateral contacts. The sides underlined that continued dialogue remains essential for strengthening regional stability and building a more predictable political environment in the South Caucasus.
The meeting also addressed confidence-building steps between Azerbaijani and Armenian civil societies. Such measures are viewed as an important element in supporting the broader normalization process.
Hajiyev and Grigoryan agreed to continue working-level contacts. The next meeting is expected to take place in Azerbaijan.
