Azerbaijan has accurate information that the leadership of Chechnya is not responsible for the AZAL plane crash, sources told the Azerbaijani publication Minval.az. “The Russian military is responsible for this incident,” said the source.
Earlier, the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, awarded the crew members of the AZAL Embraer E190 plane, which crashed in December 2024, with the “For Merit to the Chechen Republic” medals.
According to sources from Minval.az, Chechnya’s position on this matter is considered acceptable in Baku.
At the same time, Baku notes that the response came late, but its content was deemed satisfactory.
