The Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported that Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov has met with Claudio Taffuri, the outgoing Ambassador of Italy to Azerbaijan, to mark the end of his diplomatic service.
During the meeting, Minister Bayramov discussed the current situation and realities in the region in the post-conflict period, including the reconstruction and construction work being carried out on the liberated territories, as well as the normalization process between Azerbaijan and Armenia. He expressed gratitude to Italy for its fair position during these challenging times.
It was noted that some actors demonstrating a unilateral and biased approach, which threatens measures to strengthen regional peace and security, should take an example from Italy’s stance.
