“King Charles III received the COP presidency trio at Clarence House (the Westminster residence of members of the British royal family – ed.), which includes COP28 President Sultan Al-Jaber, appointed COP29 President Mukhtar Babayev, and Brazil’s National Secretary for Climate Change (COP30) Ana Toni.
The COP presidency trio represents an unprecedented cooperation between the states hosting COP, aiming to maintain momentum, ensure continuity, strengthen implementation, and create a bridge of progress between COP conferences,” the statement said.
