This was stated by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan at an event dedicated to the 97th anniversary of the establishment of the National Intelligence Organization (MİT).
“Turkey does not act on the instructions of other countries. In both our foreign and domestic policies, we fully adhere to the interests of Turkey and the Turkish people,” he said.
He noted that one manifestation of this is the anti-terrorist operations in northern Iraq and Syria, as well as supporting brotherly Azerbaijan in liberating Karabakh from about a 30-year occupation.
