Some 200 children aged 7-12 entered the competition, contributing to help raise awareness about the importance of environmental protection.
The best six works were awarded with book tokens, certificates and drawing kits. The awards were presented in two age categories. Kovsar Qurban won the first prize in the 7-9 age category, and Aylin Aliyeva won the first prize in the 10-12 age category.
Additionally, certificates of acknowledgement and achievement and drawing kits were presented to 44 children.
The drawing and painting competition was organised as part of the EU4Climate project, which is funded by the European Union and implemented by the UNDP and the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources in Azerbaijan.
