High-ranking military officials from both countries are participating in the event, Report informs.
The process of withdrawing the Russian peacekeeping contingent (RPC) from Azerbaijani territory is still ongoing and will be completed in the near future, said Anar Eyvazov, head of the press service of the Ministry of Defense, to journalists.
According to Eyvazov, following the anti-terrorist operation conducted by the Azerbaijani army in September 2023, the need for a peacekeeping mission in Karabakh has ceased.
Eyvazov recalled that the decision to terminate the peacekeeping mission prematurely was made by the leaders of Azerbaijan and Russia.
