The evolving geopolitical landscape of Eurasia continues to reshape regional alliances, and Azerbaijan is visibly strengthening its presence in Central Asian formats. Ahead of the VII Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State, Hikmat Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan and Head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Presidential Administration, underscored Baku’s integration into a shared regional identity rooted in history, culture and strategic interests.
In his post on X, he wrote:
“Azerbaijan becomes full fledged member of Central Asian family. Our common history, ethnic, linguistic ties and religious traditions and cultural values transform into the political unity at ‘6’,”
