However, in the face of the current political situation, this point is not strongly highlighted.
The European Union and some of its institutions exert pressure on our country through the will and money of the Armenian diaspora.
Wouldn’t it be possible to use said allied countries to block the efforts of the West funded by the Armenian lobby and diaspora?
Commenting on the subject in a conversation with Globalinfo.Az, political analyst Gabil Huseynli says that Turkey, Israel, Great Britain, Pakistan and China are strong countries with much influence in the world press.
“Ties and cooperation between Azerbaijan and these countries bring us added dividends. Unlike Armenia, Azerbaijan has accomplished this not by painting itself as a miserable and oppressed victim, but on the contrary, through its military-political and economic strength. That is, these countries, seeing Azerbaijan on par with themselves, consider it a reliable partner and ally in the region and at the geopolitical level.
“Of course, with the support of these countries, Western pressure on our country can be deterred. However, it would be more appropriate for Azerbaijan to ask for more support from these countries in the decision-making process of the UN Security Council.
“For example, the anti-Azerbaijani resolution that France wanted to push through at the end of last year was blocked with the interference of Great Britain, Russia and the other aforementioned countries. I believe we can demand support from our allies in this and other similarly serious situations.”
