We believe that the work carried out within the framework of COP29 and the decision to hold the conference in Azerbaijan reflect our country’s highly responsible approach to energy resources.
President Ilham Aliyev made this statement during his speech at the opening ceremony of the 12th Global Baku Forum.
“I would like to once again emphasize that not only does our country not face an energy shortage, but on the contrary, today it exports electricity to dozens of countries and natural gas to 12 countries. Ten of them are European, and it is no coincidence that our country is known as a pan-European energy supplier,” the head of state emphasized.
