He said that the map is 40% complete: “The map is being prepared in two formats. Thanks to these maps, it will be possible to find out where in Armenia there are minerals. The map will cover the entire territory of Armenia, not just the locations of the mining industry enterprises on the border of Armenia with Azerbaijan. Additionally, the map will include environmental information, for example, about which rivers are polluted with which substances and where these wastes are discharged. The presentation of the map is scheduled in four months. The map will be in Azerbaijani, English, and Armenian languages.”
Mugabil Bayramov reported that the map will be compiled using Azerbaijani toponyms:
“We intend to distribute these maps to the participants of the COP29 conference, which will take place in our country.”
