These include Dr. Nazim Muradov, the head of the hydrogen energy group at the Florida Solar Energy Center, University of Central Florida; Professor Abdullah Sofiyev, a professor at Istanbul Commerce University known for his expertise in mechanics and aerospace engineering; Professor Chingiz Gadzhiev from the Faculty of Aeronautics and Astronautics at Istanbul Technical University; and Esmira Bayramova, the manager of Capella Space and the leader of the Azerbaijani community in Florida.
It is worth noting that these overseas-based scientists were selected from a list provided by the State Committee on Work with Diaspora. They maintained constant communication with the scientists, and the scientific articles they presented earned them the right to participate in the 74th International Astronautical Congress.
It should be recalled that Azerbaijan was granted the privilege to host this congress in 2023. Hosting the International Astronautical Congress in Azerbaijan, 50 years after it was first organized in Baku in 1973 during the leadership of the great leader Heydar Aliyev, holds significant symbolic significance.
