As reported by the website of the Israel Innovation Authority, these companies, chosen through a collaboration between the Israel Innovation Authority, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Environmental Protection, Ministry of Economy, Ministry of Innovation, Science and Technology, and the Israel Export Institute, span various sectors, including renewable energy, water technologies, agriculture, green construction, smart transportation, recycling, and carbon dioxide reduction.

The Israeli delegation will be showcased in the event’s main hub, the “BLUE ZONE,” where they will present solutions that demonstrate Israel’s significant contributions to global climate innovation. From technologies reducing greenhouse gas emissions to advanced water solutions, these innovations underscore Israel’s leadership in addressing global environmental challenges.

Gila Gamliel, Minister of Innovation, Science, and Technology, emphasized the importance of Israel’s participation: “Israel is leveraging its creativity and innovation to pioneer breakthrough solutions for the climate crisis. The companies representing us at COP29 embody a true vision for global change. We are committed to advancing technologies that drive a sustainable economy, protect the environment, and improve global quality of life.”

Dror Bin, CEO of the Israel Innovation Authority, added: “Israel’s participation in COP29 reflects our commitment to promoting cutting-edge technological solutions to combat climate challenges. Even in climate tech, Israel is one of the world’s leading innovation hubs.”

The Israeli pavilion at COP29 will provide a unique platform to strengthen international cooperation and open new markets for Israeli companies, whose technologies are shaping a greener future.
