As reported by the website of the Israel Innovation Authority, these companies, chosen through a collaboration between the Israel Innovation Authority, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Environmental Protection, Ministry of Economy, Ministry of Innovation, Science and Technology, and the Israel Export Institute, span various sectors, including renewable energy, water technologies, agriculture, green construction, smart transportation, recycling, and carbon dioxide reduction.
The Israeli delegation will be showcased in the event’s main hub, the “BLUE ZONE,” where they will present solutions that demonstrate Israel’s significant contributions to global climate innovation. From technologies reducing greenhouse gas emissions to advanced water solutions, these innovations underscore Israel’s leadership in addressing global environmental challenges.
Gila Gamliel, Minister of Innovation, Science, and Technology, emphasized the importance of Israel’s participation: “Israel is leveraging its creativity and innovation to pioneer breakthrough solutions for the climate crisis. The companies representing us at COP29 embody a true vision for global change.
