Azerbaijan and the EU intend to continue to develop relations into a strong comprehensive partnership, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said at the press conference on the results of the 18th meeting of the Azerbaijan-European Union Cooperation Council held in Brussels.
“Our comprehensive discussions were based on shared goals to develop EU-Azerbaijan relations into a strong comprehensive partnership. We explored ways to deepen economic cooperation. Despite the economic fallout of the COVID-19 pandemic, the EU remains the biggest trade partner of Azerbaijan. The EU is the largest investor in our country,” Bayramov stressed.
