The Azerbaijani delegation, led by Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, and the Uzbek delegation, headed by Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov, are participating in discussions aimed at strengthening regional cooperation.
The meeting aims to finalize the Ankara Declaration and adopt a joint Action Plan for future collaboration. Minister Fidan highlighted the importance of regional stability, emphasizing ongoing efforts to support ceasefire initiatives in Gaza. Minister Bayramov reaffirmed Azerbaijan’s commitment to a two-state solution for the Palestinian-Israeli conflict and highlighted Syria as a potential area for expanded cooperation among the three nations.
The ministers also discussed economic and transport cooperation, laying out plans for enhanced regional connectivity and trade relations. The next trilateral meeting is scheduled to be hosted by Azerbaijan, underscoring the commitment to regular high-level engagements aimed at fostering regional prosperity and stability.
