In continuation of the initiative above, Professor Messoud Ashina provided consultations through the telemedicine platform with the support from Sarkhan Amirguliyev, a doctor specializing in headaches, to the residents of the village of Agaly suffering from headaches and early stage migraine.
A total of more than 200 residents participated in the project survey. 40 percent of them complained of various types of headaches. These residents received individual follow-up consultations, their diagnoses were updated, and appropriate recommendations were given. One group of residents had chronic headaches, and they met with the professor for a more accurate diagnosis on July 26, 2023.
The online doctor appointment between the village of Agaly and Copenhagen was held via the Salam Doktor platform in a videoconference format.
