The participants of the 6th Summer Camp of Diaspora Youth, dedicated to the “Year of Constitution and Sovereignty” and jointly organized by the State Committee on Work with Diaspora and the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, have arrived in Azerbaijan.
A total of 128 young Azerbaijanis and youth from friendly nations representing 61 countries visited the Alley of Honor, where they paid tribute to National Leader Heydar Aliyev. During the visit, a wreath was laid at his monument in honor of his memory.
The participants also visited the Martyrs’ Alley to honor the memory of those who sacrificed their lives for the independence and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan. Additionally, the youth visited the “Victory” monument — a powerful symbol of the Azerbaijani people’s historic triumph.
As part of the camp’s program, the participants received in-depth information about Azerbaijan’s constitutional values, the history of its independence, and the victory achieved in Karabakh. The importance of accurate and reliable information was emphasized, highlighting the crucial role diaspora youth play in shaping Azerbaijan’s global image and promoting its interests abroad.
It is worth noting that the 6th Summer Camp of Diaspora Youth will be held in Khankendi from August 3 to 9. The program includes panel discussions, meetings with families of martyrs, diplomats, artists, and athletes, as well as cultural activities, entertainment, and excursions. Previous camps have taken place in Sheki, Shamakhi, Shusha, Nakhchivan, and Lachin.
