Earlier, Elchin Amirbekov, Special Representative of the President of Azerbaijan, stated in an interview with NE Global that the upcoming COP-29 Climate Conference in Baku in November could be an excellent opportunity to sign a peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
Pashinyan responded that the time and place could be discussed further once both sides have completed work on the text of the agreement.
“The key principles have been agreed upon; we just need to incorporate them into the text of the peace treaty. I believe we have a chance to complete this work as soon as possible,” he noted.
