“Since 1994, that is, after the ceasefire, the negotiation process has been about returning Nagorno-Karabakh to Azerbaijan. The negotiation process had no other content. Discourses about different content were introduced in the Republic of Armenia exclusively for solving domestic political issues,” the Prime Minister wrote on Facebook.
“In this context, I made a significant mistake. In 2018, when I was familiarizing myself with the content of the negotiations, I did not admit the above to myself (my patriotism of the model you are familiar with did not allow me to do so), and consequently, I did not explain all of this to the people,” Pashinyan noted.
