As previously reported, during his visit to Tbilisi in October, President Ilham Aliyev expressed his readiness to start political consultations in the Baku-Yerevan-Tbilisi format.
“During the conversation today, we also exchanged views on the start of Georgia-Azerbaijan-Armenia consultations. If the Armenian side is ready for them, we are ready too,” Aliyev said at the press conference following his meeting with Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili at the time.
