According to the Kremlin, the leaders expressed satisfaction with the successful outcomes of the recent state visit by the Russian President to Azerbaijan. It was noted that the consistent implementation of the agreements reached during the talks would contribute to the further deepening of the Russia-Azerbaijan alliance and partnership.
“The discussion continued on various aspects of the current situation in the South Caucasus, including the preparation of an Azerbaijani-Armenian peace treaty, the delimitation and demarcation of the border, and the unblocking of transport communications between the two states. In this regard, the Russian side reaffirmed its readiness to continue providing all possible assistance to Baku and Yerevan in developing mutually acceptable solutions.
It was agreed to continue personal contacts,” the Kremlin noted.
As previously reported by Minval, last Friday, the Russian President shared his impressions of his visit to Azerbaijan with the Prime Minister of Armenia, for which Pashinyan thanked President Putin.
