As reported by Minval.az, the press service of the General Prosecutor’s Office stated that, under the directives of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, necessary measures are being taken to ensure the objectivity of the criminal case initiated regarding the crash of the passenger plane near the city of Aktau, Kazakhstan.
“To this end, a team from the General Prosecutor’s Office has been sent to the city of Grozny and, in accordance with an agreement with the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Russian Federation, is conducting investigations and other procedural actions jointly with their Russian counterparts,” the statement said.
It is worth noting that on December 25, a team from the Prosecutor’s Office, led by Deputy Prosecutor General Elmar Jamalov, was sent to Aktau. This team is currently working with their Kazakh colleagues to carry out necessary measures at the crash site.
