MP Samed Seyidov said this during today’s discussion in the Milli Majlis on the European Parliament resolution of October 5, 2023, as reported by APA.
The MP noted that “this time, France and several countries rallied around this resolution, questioning Azerbaijan’s victory and its status.”
“Attempts to deploy foreign forces on Azerbaijani territory and thus threaten Azerbaijan’s independence have completely failed. The hatred towards Azerbaijan in this resolution also stems from the fact that their chances of interfering in Azerbaijan’s affairs were completely rejected by us,” he said.
“No one can doubt Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity anymore. Therefore, it should be clearly stated that this resolution is Islamophobic and cowardly. We will annul this resolution. After the adoption of this resolution in Granada, the leaders of European countries spoke about high-level relations with Azerbaijan and stated that sanctions would not be in effect. They themselves nullified this resolution. This resolution, like others, will be consigned to the dustbin of history,” emphasized Samed Seyidov.
