Meanwhile, the leader of the movement, Bagrat Srbazan, inadvertently revealed the main organizer of the current protests against Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan the day before.
Srbazan expressed gratitude to Catholicos and Patriarch of All Armenians Garegin II, stating that “they received a blessing for their path precisely from him.”
“I want to thank with filial humility my father, the Patriarch of all Armenians, Catholicos of All Armenians Garegin II, who did not hinder this movement from coming here, and also blessed us with the sufferings of a father’s heart,” Srbazan importantly declared.
Srbazan also stated that during discussions with political figures, a candidate for the prime minister’s post will be determined:
“The names of candidates for prime minister are being discussed, there are different names, your favorites and those you do not like.”
As reported by Yerevan media the day before, Srbazan had visited the office of former President of Armenia, Robert Kocharyan, several times.
