This was stated by German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier during a joint press statement with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, as reported by Report.
“We have always said that this is your [Azerbaijani] territory, and today we reaffirm this direct and clear position of Germany,” said Steinmeier, responding to a question about why no measures were taken against Armenia during the 30-year occupation of Azerbaijani territories.
