“Recognizing the significance of fostering friendly relations between countries based on mutual interests and good neighborliness, we emphasize the importance of peaceful dispute resolution, respect for sovereignty, political independence, territorial integrity, the inviolability of internationally recognized borders, non-interference in internal affairs, the prohibition of the threat or use of force, and the adherence to human rights based on all the principles of the UN Charter,” reads the joint statement.
The statement also notes that the foreign ministers at the “3+3” meeting welcomed the processes of normalization and development of relations between the countries in the region.
“We welcome the ongoing processes of normalization and the development of relations among all countries in the region,” the joint statement says.
“Ministers also held consultations regarding the situation in the Gaza Strip. The foreign ministers underscored the urgent need to cease attacks against innocent civilians in Gaza,” the statement concludes.
