The First Shusha Forum of Azerbaijani–Turkish analytical centers, organized by the Center of Analysis of International Relations (AIR Center), is taking place in the city of Shusha.
According to Trend, the forum brings together heads of leading think tanks and researchers from both countries. The discussions will focus on prospects for cooperation in regional security, foreign policy, economic integration, transport and communications, as well as energy.
The forum will open with speeches by Farid Shafiyev, Chairman of the AIR Center, and Polat Safi, Chairman of the Center for Strategic Research of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye. Their remarks will emphasize the importance of further strengthening the institutional foundations and constructive role of the Azerbaijani–Turkish strategic alliance amid the new realities emerging in the region.
The program will then continue with panel sessions on “Key Trends and Opportunities for Cooperation in the Foreign Policy of Azerbaijan and Türkiye,” “Deepening Azerbaijani–Turkish Cooperation: Integration Prospects within the OTS Framework,” and “Transport, Communications, and Energy Partnership Factors in Azerbaijani–Turkish Cooperation.”
It should be noted that the First Shusha Forum is significant for strengthening institutional partnerships between Azerbaijani and Turkish analytical centers, creating joint research platforms, and coordinating future strategic initiatives.
