Over the past year, the demand for tourist trips to Azerbaijan in Russia has increased, one of the growth factors being the joint efforts of the tourism business of both countries in this direction.
As reported by RIA Novosti, citing workers from domestic tour operators, the demand for vacations in Azerbaijan has more than doubled. Companies are confident that the growth will continue.
Sources noted that operators regularly work on increasing the assortment of tours to Azerbaijan. It was also added that vacations in this country are popular due to the short flight, the absence of language and visa barriers.
It is emphasized that the popularity among Russian vacationers has been gained by the health resorts of the republic – Naftalan, Galaalty, and Nakhchivan. Additionally, there is a demand for weekend tours.
